Bring Year-Round Color with Winter Gold Juniper

Brighten your landscape with the rich, ever-changing color of Winter Gold Juniper. This low-growing, spreading evergreen delivers vibrant golden foliage from late winter through early autumn, then develops warm bronze tones in winter while keeping its signature golden tips. With better heat tolerance than many other golden junipers, it's a dependable choice for adding long-lasting color and texture to sunny landscapes.

Young plants feature soft, needle-like foliage that matures into attractive scale-like leaves in shades of green and gold. Its broad, spreading habit pairs beautifully with flowering shrubs, ornamental grasses, and perennials, making it an easy addition to a wide variety of landscape designs. Mature plants may also produce small blue berry-like cones that add seasonal interest.

Why You'll Love the Winter Gold Juniper

  • Brilliant golden foliage from late winter through early autumn.
  • Develops attractive bronze winter color with glowing gold branch tips.
  • More heat tolerant than many other golden juniper varieties.
  • Evergreen foliage provides year-round texture and color.
  • Low-growing, spreading habit is ideal for mass plantings and slopes.
  • Excellent for hedges, screens, back borders, and foundation plantings.
  • Produces decorative blue berry-like cones on mature plants.
  • Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, including moist to dry conditions.

Winter Gold Juniper performs best in full sun with well-drained, neutral soil. Its durable, low-maintenance nature makes it an excellent choice for adding reliable evergreen color to residential landscapes, commercial plantings, and mixed garden beds.

Add the warm glow of Winter Gold Juniper to your landscape and enjoy vibrant evergreen color in every season.
