The flowers open in the morning and attract a variety of native bees and pollinators.
This species prefers full sun and well-drained soils and is highly tolerant of heat and drought once established. It is an excellent choice for prairies, native plant gardens, meadows, and pollinator-focused landscapes, adding bold color and grassy texture to plantings.
Perfect for native gardens, low-maintenance landscapes, and ecological restoration projects.
